The 79th Street Business Association is an integral part of the 79th Street Initiative. The Initiative partners with the Business Association to provide training and other resources to local businesses. The Business Association meets monthly to discuss new developments in the ongoing partnership to revitalize the corridor. The Business Association recently chose a new board of directors from L to R: Carlos Gort, Treasurer, Miltoria Fordam, Secretary, Shirley Everett, President, Maurice Brazier, Vice President. Other board members include Eugene Edson, Eric Pettus and Dorothy Brown-Alfardo.
